Is there a shop/repair manual for the RX-5? Some of the trigger buttons on mine seem to’ve stopped working and I’d like to be able to open it up and at least vacuum out the insides.
It can be a little tricky taking apart the RX5 to get at the button board. But if you go at it carefully and take notes if necessary you’ll have it apart and back together again without issue.
Hi, I’m also in need of the service manual. I’m hoping to add a battery holder and try to fix the contacts on the non-functioning numeric keypad. I successfully disassembled the bottom cover, but the first PCB board, is stuck. Your tutorial hasn’t really helped me much. Any clues on how to proceed? Thanks!
I too require a copy of the service manual, as my RX5 has suddenly stopped working – no sound comes out of any of the voice buttons. Please advise where I can get a copy of the service manual from.

There is a Service Manual for the RX5. I have one but it’s only in hard copy at the moment.
I wrote up an admittedly crappy tutorial on how to clean the buttons.

For anyone viewing this comment thread, the PCB board was held together by hexagonal washer type screws. A ratchet helped getting them off.
